Went to the Nanuet new York retail store- had a great salesman. Helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The price was right even with the fabric upgrade. The manager came out and wouldn't honor the price given us. He was adding a $200 up charge. No reasonable explanation provided. Refused to discuss. I have not purchased alot of furnature. But i made a mistake about buying a power lift chair at raymour and flanigan. Bad idea they didnt have the size chair i needed and they ordered it. I rec'd wrong chair. They won't give me the right chair or refund my money. They asked me to buy a new chair and when that was delivered they refund 50% of first chair. We are having the exact same issue. Six months ago my husband and I moved into a new apartment with our 2 daughters. We left all of our old furniture behind and moved only our mattresses, which we've had for 7 years. Then we went and bought absolutely everything new from Raymour and Flanigan. So disappointed. Went to pick up my furniture and i called and asked if i could avoid coming in with my 3 small children by myself. I asked nicely if i could jusy swing around back and pick it up without "checking in." My call was my check in! Nope. They made me come in if i wanted my ottoman. Salesman first refused to me the hundred dollar credit after I spent the amount needed to get it. I had to call corporate to get it. Then I went to see how much firmer the extra firm mattress was after I bought the FIRM one and it cost me another 200 dollars. I brought a dining room set that had missing pieces and split leather on the seat. I had to wait a week to get new chairs. One of the new chairs on the second delivery had to be repaired by the delivery men at my house. The seat was coming off. After a year and a half my leather sectional sofa ripped 4 inches in two places paid to have someone from Raymour and Flanigan to fix it. He used some glue which lasted a few days. They will not make good because we didn't get a service policy. We didn't get one because they said if you have pets you will not be covered. The animals do not sit on our sofa. In the spring of 2014 we purchased a "Cindy Crawford Home" leather sectional sofa and ottoman for approximately $4000. Just over one year later, the corner cushion began to sag considerably. I contacted customer service and OF COURSE there is only a one year warranty on the cushions, but they'd be happy to charge me $75 to come out and "look" at it. I have just purchased a sectional that was falsely sold to me. The color of the furniture looks different in my house than in the store. In the store the furniture was beige in my house it is gray.
