Charged $200 restocking fee for defective mdse
Apr 8, 2008
Raymour & Flanigan complaint by Frankbk
after receiving two defective leather couches, we decided to get a cloth couch. we were informed that there would be a restocking fee of $200 for returning the second couch and replacing it with a cloth couch. both the delivery man and the sales supervisor at the store suggested that "in a few weeks (or a "month or two" the large dent would disappear from the top of the backrest. we waited for two months before contacting the store again and reported the defect was still evident. the first couch had a large hold in the front of the armrest and the store exchanged it promptly.
