TIME SLOTS FOR DELIVERIES NOT GOOD

I mentioned to sales girl that ME and my daughter are care takers for my mother and that there is no way I can leave her house and be at my house any earlier then 1:30pm. well she said, WE will call the night before to let you know what time they will come out. PHONE call came and they were coming between 8-12; THAT is awful that they refused to understand my situation. NOW I have to strand my mother or cancel the unit that will house my new dvd tv and dvd vcr unit. I WISH I NEVER GOT ANYTHING FROM raymour and flanigan in seekonk.

My fiance and I went to Reymour & Flanigan on President's Day and brought a 5-piece living room set that was on sale. Although, they promised us delivery in 3 days or less we opted to get the furniture 2 weeks later b/c we were not moving into our new apt until March 1.

While in store we were told that all five pieces would be delivered by 3 pm on the 1st of March. The day before delivery we received a phone call from the warehouse saying that the love seat was on back order and the furniture would be delivered btwn 1-7 pm. We was angry to say the least b/c we were lied to. Nonetheless, we waited for the furniture and it did not arrive until 9:30 p.m.

that night. We called the store and the warehouse to complain only to be told that nothing could be done and that we had to wait to receive our love seat. Since we received our delivery on the 1st we have called almost everyday about when our love seat is being delivered only to be told yesterday that it was damaged upon arrival at the warehouse. It is now a month later and we still don't have our love seat.

It is suppose to be delivered next Wednesday, if we don't receive it we are calling the news and reporting the situation so that they can publicize this company's horrible service.

No more raymour

I was never pleased with the sales help @Raymour but my daughter found a chair she liked. We bought from a nice girl there. I kept wondering how things were going to go wrong, well upon delivery there was a SOFA no chair. My daughter drove 3 hours to get this chair in a borrowed van. They offered a 20% discount on floor model. We CANCELLED. They called 20 minutes later and said they found the chair. Lesson learned NO MORE Raymour deals. my thoughts are they were trying to get rid of floor model and keep the new one to put on their floor.

Last year I purchased a recliner from R&F. They offered 90 days same as cash, so I took them up on the offer. Now I knew that if I didn't pay within 90 days they would hit me with interest. About 3 weeks before payment was due I still hadn't received a bill. I called them up and they said I would get it very soon.

Well three calls later and no bill. I finally got it one week after the 90 period with an interest charge of $60.00. I called them over and over and they said because I paid late I owe the interest.

Now I'm being hounded by a credit agency.

I will never again buy from R&F. And I will never take a furniture company up on any xxx days same as cash. It's a scam

Raymour and Flanigan Delivery Nightmare

I purchased five (5) kitchen chairs on 10/16/07. The salesman was very efficient and had a good business acumen. He arranged a delivery on 10/19/07 and told me that I'd get a call from the warehouse/delivery people regarding a timeframe of delivery on the day of delivery. The initial caller told us that the delivery would be between 10am and 2pm. This was changed several times and the delivery showed up after 5:30pm. I was late for yet another appointment because of five (5) kitchen chairs. I signed that they were delivered but would not sign that they had been checked for damaged. The driver called someone (I'm assuming the warehouse in Monmouth Junction, NJ) and I called the Ocean Township store. While I was on the telephone with the store, the driver removed the furniture that I signed for. My daughter videotaped the incident with her cell phone. I did file a report with the local police and got a refund with the store

Raymor & Flanigan - Waterbury , CT - Worst service

Raymor & flanigan should call itself "say more and fail again" . Their 3 day guarantee is a joke . I had ordered a bed and 3 piece sofa set on nov 25th and i have not seen them yet . Every week they provide some lousy explanations and finally now they cannot even provide me a date of delivery . My family is forced to sit on dining chairs to watch the tv plus we cannot invite anyone to our new home . I regret my decision to go with this company . The worst part is i have to call every time to confirm the delivery and then receive the inevitable "we cannot deliver today" response . Lousy service and most irresponsible .Avoid them . The store i ordered is less than 4 miles away from my home not that it matters .

Raymour&Flanigan strikes again

when we were looking for furnture and stopped by a Raymour and Flanigan store the sales people told you everything and anything you wanted to hear. We ordered a sofa and two recliners. The first problem came 4 weeks after the purchase. They could not have the recliners covered in the same fabric. They had another fabric that was just about the same. They said they would send out small swatch for us to look at, this took several weeks. We approved the fabric, another two months went by and the furnture was delevered. We called the store to purchase some of the fabric to cover a stool. We were told by the salesman it was to much work to look up the account and find the fabric number. I called and spoke to a manager who said they would get back to me, that was two months ago. We were told at the time of purchase the account was one year interest free. When the bills started coming in it was at 24% interest. The finance people told me the account was put through as 24% and was not free for the first year. I called the store and asked for the manager and was told several times they would return my call. They did not. This was the first time and it will be the last time I enter a Raymour and Flanigan store. My advice is do business with a local store where you can trust in the reputation and honesty of your neighbours

When you purchase something from Raymour & Flanigan, you sign for your financing. The terms will be clearly stated on your receipt whether you have 25 days interest free, 1 year with no payments interest free, or even 2011 with minimum payments interest free...

This is why R&F has you INITIAL (check your receipt) by the finance terms that you are receiving. I have used their different financing options on several occasions, and it was always clear to me what I was getting...

Why do people choose not to pay attention enough to READ anything when they are signing a legally binding document???

Avoid this place if your in Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Besides slightly higher prices than expected their crack delivery team had problems keeping track of their days. Their advertisements promise next day delivery. When giving them a four day advanced notice for an in stock mattress they failed to deliver. We are on day two of this and it's yet to be seen if they will recover the fumbuled ball. Maria in the delivery department wasted two hours trying to get ahold of the drivers and a superviser then claimed it was too late to make a delivery thirty minutes from the store. On the positive side the origional sales assiciate was informative and helpful. Raymore Flanagan took over or bought out a long time store named Alperts who used to give warm cookies to customers. Raymour & flanigan selling refurbish chairs as new

On 10/28/07 my wife and i purchased a sofa, chair, ottoman and chest. Aside from delivery night mares and defective part replacement for delivery damages I was sold a refurbish chair as new. The chair was delivered with the sofa which was damaged by the deliveryman. The serviceman replaced the damaged legs with new legs that were cracked. I then flipped over the chair and discover that the chair legs were not only cracked but poorly refurbished and painted over and delivered to me as a new chair. I would never have notice this if the sofa replacement legs came in cracked. I had to take three days off from work to get three items to me. I had to take two days off from work for repairs (first time waited from 12 p.M. To 8 p.M. No show no call). Now I have to take another 2 days for them to come and first see the damage and then come back for replacement. Total nightmare!!!

Raymour & Flannigan Reviews - Where the customer is always WRONG, the prices are HIGH and delivery in 4-20 WEEKS I purchased $9,000 of furniture from Raymour & Flannigan (Amherst, NY). Customer service was OK, until they got my money. From there service was terrible. They delivered a damaged dining room table FOUR times. The delivered a non-matching ottoman, apologized and said they would replace in 4-6 weeks. I called 6 weeks later and they hadn't even ordered yet. 20 weeks later, still no ottoman. Customer service and sales people, not apologic (must be a common occurrance). My advice...GO ELSEWHERE unless you like high prices, later/no delivery and horrible customer service.

i had a very nice experience with raymour and flanigan. i left my house, expecting to purchase bedroom furniture for my home. i ended up purchasing bedroom sets for myself, my 13 year old and my 6 & 8 year olds. the salesperson met us when we entered the store. he said he'd be up to assist us when we were ready. when i chose the sets i wanted, he did not pressure me in any way to choose additional items. in addition, when we were finished, he gave us the protection package for free, without trying to sell it to me. i didn't know anything about it in fact. he brought us water at the checkout desk, and that certainly way appreciated. he was honest and didn't try to sell me anything i didn't want. our furniture was to be delivered on a specific date between 9 am and 12 pm. the furniture was delivered at 9:03 am and put together by two men who took every care not to disturb my household which included a 6 year old who wanted to help!! when i thought about where i wanted to go to buy furniture, i had several options. i could have gone to the discount furniture place, i could have gone to a local furniture store, but i chose what i consider to be an upscale retailer to provide me with quality furniture that will last for years to come and provide me with the service and products that i want. i got no interest until 2010, a free warranty program which will replace or repair anything that is damaged, even by a vacuum ramming into a corner of a dresser. i have never been happier with a business in my life. thank you, raymour & flanigan.

Very Very unhappy pls read for your own sake

I spent over $10,000 for living room furniture and was told by the salesman that if I was unhappy or it didnt look right in the room to call up and they will rfund the money.......(too Start). Furniture shows up....Missing a piece that we thought was on our LARGE list of items that the salesman gave us a price for. Come to find out he gave us a price, then didnt add one piece on (we didnt get charged for it) BUT!!!!!!! we thought that was the total so agreed to buy the furniture thinking we had a nice deal....WRONG!!!!!! So, back to the top....I told them to just come and take ALL the furniture back and was then told that was not there policy. We should have read the contract better but believed the elderly salesman......I will NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!!

I also had a positive and negative experience with Raymour and Flannigan. I was completely satisfied with my mattress purchase BUT the livingroom furniture fiasco was ridiculous.

I went to the store and picked out teh furniture I liked and requested pricing for each piece. I decided to take one day to decide if I really wanted to spend the money. I did. I returned the next evening but the salesperson was not there. I was told the order is in the computer and to go to the service desk to pay and arrange delivery.

When I looked at the printed receipt the color listed was "Cognac." I explained that I requested "Pearl White." The young lady told me not to worry b/c the warehouse ues different color codes that do not coincide with the in-store color codes.

Needless to say, the wrong color arrived the following weekend. I work a 2nd job and lost a day's pay waiting for the wrong color furniture. They aske dif I wante dto keep the wrong color. I refused and was told the right color would be delivered teh following weekend.

The next weekend, I took another day off and can you believe the only piece that arrived was the leather otterman. The sofa and chair never made it onto the truck. Another day's pay lost.

Bottom line, I had them waive ALL dleivery charges from my account and aske dthey they substanially reduce the cost of the sofa. It's been four years and I need a diningroom set but I would like to do business with an organized company.

False advertising

I went in R &F to purchase living room and dining room furniture thinking I could defer payment till 2011 or so (like they say in the ads). To my surprise I found out that you can't get to so called SALE price if you defer payments. I have never got a dollar reduction of the ticket price of something and I spent 7,000 in furniture there. They also have 10% coupon in some magazines that they DO NOT HONOR!! Why bother. This store should go out of business. The sales people are hungry loosers who are just trying to make a buck and really don't care about giving you a service. I will never buy from there again.

Raymour and Flanigan sucks

Our delivery experience was a nightmare. They arrived 2 hours past the quoted delivery window (9am-12pm). When I called at 1:00pm to see where they were I was told on the phone that they were ONLY an hour past the delivery time. They assured me that they were on their way and an hour later arrived at my house. I was then informed that one of the pieces of the sectional sofa was damaged. I was instructed to refuse the piece and told that they would reschedule a delivery date for the new piece. That was rescheduled after I called to set it up. They arrived to my house right on schedule however, without our furniture. The piece was never put on the truck. After numerous calls, I was assured that it would be delivered the next day. When I asked if there was anything that could be done to reimburse us for our inconvenience I was told that unfortunately no, since we had bought the sofa during a "sale". I am still waiting for a call back from the sales manager.....yet to find out if it'll actually be delivered. Not holding my breath!!!

Raymour and Flanigan sucks, we bought a dining room set with four chairs. one chair was damaged and after 8 months they still cant get us a chair....Brick NJ store is being sued for breach of contract.

Awful service

I ordered living room furniture from Raymour and Flanigan by special order in early September. The expected order time was 6-8 weeks. After a number of phone calls and a 7 week wait, I was told the furniture would be delivered in one week. This was followed two days later by a call from the store that the leather I ordered was not available. Why it took 7 weeks to tell me I couldn't have what I wanted, I will never know. My only option is to order another fabric and wait 8 more weeks, buy something I don't want, or start over shopping elsewhere. I will go elsewhere because I have no patience for such incompetence.

Pleased with raymour and flanigans

I have had all great experiences at Raymour and Flanigans. We had a weird situation with a mouse in our leather sofa and Raymour and Flanigans not only replaced the sofa but gave us a gift card for being inconvenienced. We've bought a lot of furniture from this company. Everything from mattresses to bed frames to leather livingroom sets. We couldn't ask for better delivery men. We usually get the same guys. I have run across pushy salespeople, but the last couple have been great. We even had a problem with a 3 yr. old mattress and it was replaced. I had delt with a Strawbridges and pretty much experienced the worst, but thats a whole other story.

you had A MOUSE in your sofa and that's not a problem, wow your not too hard to please then. good for you.

If they delivered a sofa to me with a mouse in it, there would be *** to pay. And they probably took care of you because you could have sued them for that for sure, bringing vermin into your home. I would be beside myself no matter how they tried to fix it.

I would never trust them again. You should be looking for dust mites and bed bugs as well.

I too had a great experience with Raymour and Flanigan, and no I don't work for them. Just a happy consumer, it's hard to come by these days! ;) I would highly recommend them to anyone I know :grin
