Refusal to exchange merchandise because the store policy requires them the right after 72 hours has passed although customer is a long standing customer dining business with their company for many years.

Horrible quality, false warranty

Bought a $1200 recliner less than a year ago. Also bought the Premium Warranty for the recliner.

The foam cushions are failing in several spots. The wooden frame is now protruding in several spots including the arm rests, in the area where your head rests and in the seat cushion area. The poor construction makes the chair uncomfortable. Called the store and had a service technician visit my home to assess the problem.

Service technician documented the problems and said nothing can be done. Went to the showroom on two different occasions to discuss the problem with management.

Was told both times I would be contacted regarding the problem. No one ever contacted me.

You cannot get through to anybody the phone keeps hanging up it doesnt connect to anything or anybody. This is the creepiest customer service that they are. You guys should try to get some people from Apple or Amazon because you guys suck.

Firstly, we were sold an expensive Mattress of $3999 without providing full details on R&F after services like protection plan or related policies. Secondly, the customer service is pathetic and irresponsible. Have landed with severe back and spine problems with C3 C6 slip and bulge in L4 and L5 discs. And when contacted R& F customer service for exchange for firmer mattress the response is pathetic! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTING. PLEASE DONOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RAYMOUR & FLANIGAN!!! Cheaters!!!

Disappointed customer

Last year my wife and I bought an outdoor living set that we were very pleased with, along with the platinum protection plan. We used the set many times in 2022.

This past winter we stored the cushions away in a secure container but unfortunately, the cushions got badly damaged to the point of unuse during the winter season. I recently sumbmitted photos of the damage, but our claim was denied based on "excessive damage". The damage was no fault of our own and I was disappointed that nothing could be done based on us having the protection plan.

That has led us to try and find and purchase cushions elsewhere as our piece has since been discontinued. Unfortunately, the cushions for our piece are custom in size.

27x27x5 cushions for a 2 piece loveseat are impossible to find anywhere. I did find on your website a very similar piece to what we bought last year -- Matira 2pc Loveseat and inquired about purchasing just the cushions.

Again, we were denied through this request. So, at this point we have a "frame" of a $1600 patio loveseat that we used for one year and is now unusable.

Very disappointed with product and service

I purchased the Byron 2pc power reclining sectional back in 2019 excited for my new purchase for my new home I also purchased the insurance that came along with it. I figured it better to be safe for the future.

I recently had some rips in the sofa from my nieces and nephews playing around being kids and decided to put in a claim. I was contacted and told by the first rep that this is not covered under my platinum protection because I had a leather sofa and it is only for upholstery, the only coverage I had was for mechanical problems. This was news to me because no where did it explain that during purchase (obviously why would I purchase something I could not use under those circumstances). Then I was told due to the wear and tear of the couch my claim would not be accepted.

I am aware of the wear and tear clause due to a previous claim that was made for the sectional piece being broken, that representative was very helpful and at that time she did tell me about the coverage and I was told during that conversation rips and tears were covered. When I called back and spoke with another rep, I was told that because the pictures show wear and tear my claim was denied. Let me say this my concern is also the fact that I purchased this couch from this company expecting it to last. The fact that more recently it has started to peel is disappointing and also absurd that it seems to be made into my fault.

The material of my couch should not be all over my floors every time I utilize my living space.

It has become more rapid as the couch has gotten older which is highly disappointing. I considered this a great investment and now Raymour and Flanigan has just let me down all across the board.

I've ordered mattresses and box springs relying on manager's advice. He gave me an approximate price , which I approved.

Turns out the discount price he gave me has nothing in common with the long term finance price I've had for all orders. He was aware that I've chose a long term, but hadn't mention that this is not applicable to this items. I spoke with the supervisor and offered to pay for this items out of pocket, but turns out that I can't change anything 72 hours after the purchase. Also the recliner I purchased is not that comfortable as a floor sample, and the box springs were 9" with the high bed(also purchased same place) and high mattresses, so we were not able to use them, but when I was trying to return I was told that no returns on this items, finally agreed on replacing.

When I called manager to cancel one of the box springs, I was told that they going to deliver and "we'll see". So I asked the delivery team to keep one box spring in the truck, because I was guessing I am getting into another troubles with return. So beware, the company is full of surprises. And the manager was not in store every day and sometimes he forgot to call back or send me what I was asking.

Thank you Watchung store for the lesson, will never use you again. Never,never,never order from the store.

Use Internet instead. This guys are just making money and never do anything for you.

Very unhappy with North Haven’s store. I was totally lied to.

I bought $14,000 worth of furniture when I made the deal with the salesman John he promised me a picture that was on the wall when my furniture was delivered, there was no picture, when I went into pay my final balance, which I paid in full the salesman. John said all I cant give you the picture, and I said you lied to me, so he said he will give me $200 in visa credit card.

It took three weeks I went in the store and spent 45 minutes with this guy, John, and the cards dont work.

I tried to use them three times theyre just numbers.

The salesman called me the other night wanted me to buy more furniture and said I can use $200 off the furniture. This is a total scam.

I want somebody from corporate to call me otherwise Im going to the local newspaper my brother is a state representative in the town of North Haven Connecticut. Im gonna cause a stink like no one has ever seen over a stinking $200.

Worse Experience Ever

We ordered 8 pieces for power recliner couch set and 10 piece dining set. We ordered brand new and were promised best quality and good service at the time of sale.

Surprisingly dining table and out of 8 couch pieces 4 came damaged/defective.

Store tried to replace them but to our utter surprise every-time it got delivered with some different defects. We have provided pictures and videos every time for clarity.

We were also promised white glove delivery but the very first Delivery team was so unprofessional, rude and damaged our property as well. They left our house with complete mess.

Delivery team even broke brand new couch legs by dragging it on our porch and brought it without covering in heavy rain.

I have shared all the pics and videos but no concrete action was taken.

Out of choice We have accepted dining table and three defective couches with service repair as we are tired of exchanges and wanted to close this out asap.

In spite of Ordering brand new we had to accept the repaired furniture but we cooperated out of choice.

But still service team could not repair one couch piece and not even able to replace it with good piece which should fit with rest of the pieces.

This is really frustrating and disappointing from store like Raymour.

We have bought furniture from So many other local furniture stores before and still purchasing for our brand new house but we never had any such experiences with any other store.

In spite of our best experiences with other stores we decided to buy from Raymour due to new furniture designs and quick delivery promises. We expected good quality and best customer services.

But left frustrated and disappointed.
