I bought a five piece wooden bedroom set from Raymour and Flannigan approximately 2 years ago, I had a one year manufacturers warranty, and the platinum protection warranty which is supposed to cover damages such as stains, rips, cracking, bubbling, for five years. The first problem I had with the set were the phantom drawers that opened on their own, the repair guy came and said the floor was not leveled and inserted sticky floor protectors to the feet of the dresser; to date the drawers still open on their own.

I used a leveler on the floor and found that the floor is not uneven. The second incident is when I came home and found cracks in the the bedroom set I used approximately a total of 5 times. I sleep on my Jennifer Converible couch I've had for seven years and I have experienced no problems with it. YES I am asking myself the same thing!

Why didn't go back to Jennifer? I went to Raymour and Flannigan I showed them pictures of the cracks, they said the warranty was up, but I have platinum protection for five years, so it should not be a problem to fix the cracks in the wood. They said they were going to call me to make an appointment, they called within in the hour and gave me the appointment for May 13th. The repairman came and he proceeded to start fixing the cracks, I asked him why would you try to fix dry rotting wood?

He stated he was here to fix it. So if it's going to continue to rot you are going to come fix it everytime? He said yes. So i said when my platinum warranty is up i am out of luck he said "yes".

I then called Raymour and Flannigan and was told basically the same thing about the warranty, I'm basically on my own and the rotting wood was a manufacturers defect. The repairman continued in his reapirs, ending with spraying the dresser with a color that does not match, and putting two pieces of wood under the front legs of the dresser, Which have not stopped the phantom drawers from opening, he left and about 2 hours later a lady called from Raymour and Flannigan and i proceeded to tell her about the blocks under the dresser, and the two toned furniture the repair man created. She stated the pictures he bought back did not show that and i should take a picture with my "great" lighting; i told her she should not put words in my mouth.

I did not say my lighting was great, i simply said the paint was a different color than the dresser. To which she said him fixing the dresser was a mistake, and it was not covered under my platinum protection, and i said she was full of ***; that was the end of the conversation.

Reason of review: Bad quality.
